Shyla S. Martinez is a strategic executive leader specializing in corporate philanthropy, community engagement, and social impact. With over 15 years of experience, she transforms philanthropic visions into measurable outcomes through high-impact partnerships and culturally responsive program design.
As a former Global Community Engagement & Partnership Leader at Amazon, Shyla spearheaded strategies across 14+ countries, delivering over $11 million in shared value. She architected employee-led micro-funding programs, pioneered AI skilling pathways, empowering thousands of community members and professionals across three continents, in partnership with Non-profits and NGOs globally.
A recognized thought leader and sought-after speaker, Shyla has presented at corporate conferences and international events including AWS re:Invent Summit, Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and AWSxBASICS International. She sits on multiple boards, is a NPO Founder, and is an active community philanthropist dedicated to creating sustainable social change.
Shyla is based in Seattle, Washington, she brings proven expertise in stakeholder mobilization, diversity and inclusion strategy, and cross-sector collaboration to organizations committed to meaningful social impact.
